Job Purpose

Position Overview:

Dana is seeking a dynamic candidate to serve as a first point of contact for our customer base. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience, encompassing initial purchase order entry through final shipment. This individual will gain excellent experience and understanding of the entire sales process by working with outside sales, and members of the internal teams to grow existing customers and create new ones while providing supply chain and logistics support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison, providing product/services information, answering questions, and resolving emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Perform accurate customer order entry, communicating delivery and terms, stock checks, order changes and expedites, return authorizations

  • Work closely with outside sales representatives to provide best possible service to customers, including inventory analysis and on time delivery.

  • Develop a strong working relationship with the customer contacts and internal teams.

  • Ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities in a positive and engaging fashion

  • Excellent communication, computer, and presentation skills. Verbal and Written

Qualification/Competencies/Position Requirements:

  • Knowledge in SAP application.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook) preferred

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED

  • College degree in a technical discipline preferred

  • Experience in customer relations, customer service, purchase order entry and logistics preferred.

  • Proven Customer Support experience
