Customer Service Connected Solutions & IoT:

We are looking for a driven and high energy individual to develop and lead our customer service efforts in the Connected Solutions Business. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be a critical touch point to drive excellent experiences for our customers during the setup and ongoing support of our Connected Services and Solutions. Join a global and entrepreneurial team with room to build and execute equally in this new exciting space.

You may bring value to Donaldson by:

  • Acting as a key inside contact to customers and delivering the best experience possible

  • Ability to problem solve and know when to hand off more complex matters efficiently

  • On board customers and close out quotes to completion

  • Receive and enter orders in Oracle

  • Work directly with customers to setup their new service/solution plans and provision connected devices properly

  • Modify and run scripts in Azure (text editing)

  • Download and upload images

  • Record details in CRM to maintain our knowledge of the customer

  • Manage drop shipment with contract manufacturer if not out of DCI facility

  • Interface closely with internal teams to meet customer expectations

Candidates most successful in this role possess:

  • High School Diploma required.

  • 2 years related experience required, preferably in a related industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

  • Experience with order entry, CRM, Oracle, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities Essential Functions * Supports their assigned Buyers and/or Vendors to ensure all PO's are received in a timely manner * Follows up on all open orders within their queue to ensure it is moving forward to meet required deadlines * Monitors all drop ship orders in their queue to ensure daily receipt has occurred, tracking has been added to the * notes and freight cost has been added * Ensures all PO's are linked prior to receiving and posting in GP * Proactively retrieves tracking and freight from Vendor portals such as ScanSource, NEC, Cisco, etc. * Works closely with the MASR/ISR Team for any questions, follow up, etc. * Provides back up support to each CSA Team member as needed. Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities * Attends vendor workshops to improve knowledge on new items * Sets priorities taking into account short and long term needs of the business Qualifications Required Qualifications * Performs detailed work related to customer service with good judgement, accuracy, and promptness * Communicates effectively, follows and gives oral and written directions, interacts with the public in a helpful, * courteous, and friendly manner * Establishes and maintains effective working relationships * Demonstrates sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population * High School Diploma/GED * Purchasing background desirable Desired/Preferred Qualifications * Ability to think outside the box and problem solving skills Additional Information Work Environment Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment.
