The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible processing incoming customer orders, quotes and requests for products and information. Establishing and communicating price and availability of products and services. The CSR will possess broad knowledge of the division's product and service offerings along with their respective markets. The Industrial Solutions Customer Service Representative maintains customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and administratively supporting the sales organization.


The major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties, assignments, and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of executive management.

  • Receives and processes customer orders

  • Handles all telephone inquiries related to orders and shipments, price and availability of parts and communicates additional information as required

  • Analyzes and determines opportunity for cross-sell and up-sell potential

  • Assists with identification of and management of Equipment Assets

  • Handles customer complaints and inquiries professionally and efficiently; places customers in contact with the proper department when required

  • Assists the Inside Sales Manager, Application Engineers, Product Specialists, Regional Sales Managers, Production and other inter-company departments, as required, to meet company goals and objectives

  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of CECO Industrial Solutions complete product line

  • Operates as the lead point of contact (internal and external) for all Return Goods Authorization (RGA's), Credit Memos and Cost of Quality order processing

  • Liaisons between Scheduling, Shipping, Purchasing, Sales, and Engineering to facilitate order fulfillment issues and updates

  • Creates and runs reports within Microsoft Excel and

  • Works to proactively solve customer, product or pricing issues in a timely fashion

  • Other job duties as required.


  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience required

  • 2 years Customer Service or Inside Sales experience preferred

  • Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications and CRM management (

  • Proficient in MS Excel Reporting, required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A proven track record of performing work accurately and thoroughly

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels and with customers and distributors

  • Collaboration with different groups to accomplish goals

  • Demonstrated ability to excel in fast paced environment encompassing company growth and change

The Bilingual (Korean / English) Senior Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling all incoming Billing and Eligibility phone calls and for serving as the primary customer interface for departmental inquiries. Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers. Direct phone-based customer interaction to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries. Primary Responsibilities: * Ensures quality customer service for internal and external customers. * Responds to incoming customer service requests, both verbal and written (calls, emails, chats). * Identifies and assesses customers' needs quickly and accurately. * Solves problems systematically, using sound business judgment. * Partners with other billing and eligibility department representatives to resolve complex customer service inquiries. * Monitors delegated customer service issues to ensure timely and accurate resolution. * Applies appropriate communication techniques when responding to customers, particularly in stressful situations. * Informs and educates new customers regarding billing / invoicing set up and billing/payment procedures. * Places outgoing phone calls to complete follow-up on customer service requests as necessary. * Responds to customer service inquiries in writing as necessary. * Processes member terminations (i.e. phone disenrollment). * Establishes and demonstrates competency in eligibility, billing and receivable systems and associated applications. * Implements customer service strategies and recommends related improvements/enhancements. * Maintains timely, accurate documentation for all appropriate transactions * Makes corrections and adjustments. * Consistently meets established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards. * Proactively seeks to further develop billing and accounts receivable competencies. * Keeps management abreast of all outstanding issues. * Adapts procedures, processes, and techniques to meet the more complex position requirements. * Participates in load balancing. * Addresses special (ad-hoc) projects as appropriate. * Seeks involvement in continuous quality improvement initiatives. * Ensures quality customer service for internal and external customers. Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma / GED (or higher) * 2+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems * 2+ years of basic proficiency with Windows PC applications which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications * Korean / English Bilingual * Must be available to work evenings, nights, and weekend shifts * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy * Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) * Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service * If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.
