RESPONSIBILITIES

Fraud Representatives are responsible for monitoring debit and credit card accounts for fraudulent activities and for receiving inbound calls from our customers. Representatives are also responsible for providing high quality customer service by responding to telephone inquiries, customer requests, and problems related to debit and credit card fraud and dispute claims. Representatives will interface with multiple financial institutions and cardholders for multiple financial institutions to service all customer needs in regards to fraud and dispute issues. Other responsibilities include:

  • Working directly with cardholders to resolve customer service issues or fraudulent/unauthorized activities.
  • Analyzing cardholder account transactions to identify abnormal activity that may be fraudulent, violate the terms of the merchant /cardholder agreement, or indicate a potential credit risk.
  • Contacting cardholders to validate the authenticity of charges.
  • Works to prevent loss once abnormal activity or unauthorized use has been determined
  • Our Fraud department operates from 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Representatives will work set schedules, to include Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent

- One to three years of clerical or related work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Well-developed ability to identify and interpret data and resolve exceptions

- Ability to work with unwritten but generally understood instructions

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
