Baker Hughes, a GE company, is seeking a Customer Service Representative for the Artificial Lift System group based in Cody, Wyoming. Under limited supervision the customer Service Representative will provide order administration/invoicing support for Artificial Lift Systems Product line. Responsible for providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers, aligned with Business and Departmental objectives. Work overtime as needed during month end closing that could include weekends and holidays.
Manage account base assigned either by Customer, Account Manager, regardless of location.
Establish and maintain rapport with customer base
Process customer orders, change orders, quotes, equipment requests, DST (Domestic Service Tickets), return orders, credits and debit memos following established guidelines and procedures.
Interface with Sales Managers, Sales Force, Field Service Representatives for issue resolution
Interface with various internal departments to expedite shipments, account maintenance, process improvements
Utilize order administration tools to manage assigned accounts and/or tasks on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
Provide other analysis and support as needed, and as directed by Supervisor
Ability to work 8 hour shifts which may include staggered shifts
File and maintain customer files, archive when necessary
Validate and Mail invoices
Perform other job functions as assigned
3 +years of experience in Customer Service
3+ years of procurement and order process cycle experience
Experience includes working knowledge with SAP
MS Office applications which includes Word, Excel and Access.
Excellent communications, problem solving and interpersonal skills are required
Associate degree in marketing, business communications
Oil Industry Products and Service knowledge preferred but not required
