Perform assigned tasks within established procedures in various phases of customer service operations. Answer customer service inbound calls- average 50 calls per day. Respond to customer inquiries; complete calls or relay information as necessary pertaining to customer service billing and other problems. Open, separate, and distribute incoming mail; including the processing of customer payments. Perform similar duties as assigned.

  • Answer customer service inbound calls. Average 50 calls per day.

  • Schedule service orders for the field

  • Update customer accounts in the CC&B system

  • Establish payment arrangement with customers

  • Process completed service work from the field

  • Update accounts with bankruptcy information

  • Process credit refunds

  • Process return mail from the post office

  • Resolve billing inquiries in a professional manner.

Required Skills

High School Diploma required. Good computer & customer service skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word

  • Ability to understand and explain billing.

  • Troubleshooting ability computer issues, customer issues.

  • Analyze Data

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing

  • Attention to detail

Required Experience

Three years of call center experience with high capacity. Collection/payment and utility experience a plus.
