Volt is immediately hiring a Customer Service Representative in Dublin, CA.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the sales team.

  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, video conferencing to provide overall customer satisfaction.

  • Assure accurate and timely processing of customer orders so that all orders are shipped on time and in full.

  • Responsible for logging orders received and shipped daily and working with Supply Team for product availability. Addresses and resolves any conflicts in order, inventory, and/or shipping.

  • Generate reports on sales targets, activity, and related metrics.

  • Process orders and follow through on transfer processes assuring accurate and timely flow of product.

  • Research and act upon quotes on freight as needed, working with various carriers for timely and cost-effective delivery.

  • Review accounts receivable payments, identifying discrepancies and partnering with A/R team on clearing deductions.

  • Address and resolve customer concerns, assuring positive outcomes.

  • Use knowledge of products to answer inquiries or to forward to appropriate individuals.

  • Establish and maintain involvement in industry associations for insights and opportunities for the brand.

  • Maintain professional relationships with coworkers, customers, and parent company.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Provides administrative support to sales team.

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 1 years' experience in a relevant role at a consumer-packaged goods business with national and international distribution preferred.

  • Customer service experience required.

  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions and demands. Ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Emotional intelligence.

  • Self-motivated and able to execute independently.

  • Detail oriented yet Big Picture driven.

  • Travel required for in-person meetings as needed.

  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills.

  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

  • High level of integrity and dependability with strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills.

  • Ability to adapt to multiple computer systems and analytical tools.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

Salary: $26 - $29/Hour

  • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
