What Will I Do In This Role?

The Customer Service Representative will receive and respond to all customer inquiries while also acting as a liaison between Production Control, Shipping, Credit and Sales. You will be responsible for taking orders from customers, managing customer profiles, and up-selling products.

In this key role, the Customer Service Representative will closely partner with the sales team to provide support and help coordinate sales efforts, while also maintaining customer relationships and resolving customer issues. You will also help to facilitate communication with distribution personnel regarding shipment timelines and customer requirements.

What Skills Do I Need?

You have a high school diploma (Associate's degree preferred) and 1-2 years of Customer Service-related work experience. You have the proven ability to work with confidential information and strong problem-solving skills.

The Customer Service Representative will need to have excellent phone etiquette along with strong typing and computer skills as you will respond to all customer inquiries and complaints by telephone and in writing. A basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is important as you will process orders received via email, rep portals, and EDI; and provide spreadsheets, sales reports and analysis, when needed.

Seasonal overtime is required.
