Providence Mutual is seeking candidates for a Customer Service Professional position. This position is responsible for providing superior customer service to agents and policyholders through positive, effective, diplomatic oral and written communication skills. This includes managing inbound customer inquiries with the ability to provide expert problem-solving skills and handling adverse situations with professionalism and maturity. The Customer Service professional will also provide technical training of policy processing systems to agency business partners, complete audits of agent-entered transactions, and provide back-up support to the underwriters.
Requirements include:
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
1-3 years of Customer Service experience.
P&C Insurance industry background preferred.
P&C Insurance Designations preferred, but not required.
Excellent communication (written & oral), customer service, and time management skills.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain a pleasant and calming telephone presence in a high call volume environment.
Ability to exude confidence, knowledge, and empathy when interacting with internal and external customers.
Must be organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to multi-task.
Must be PC literate and proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
Alpha and numeric data entry skills.
