We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our growing Customer Service Department which supports order fulfillment and client logistics.



Responsibilities:
Customer order management for assigned territories
Demonstrated ability to identify sensitive and/or high-risk issues inside and outside of daily activities, initiates and executes actions plans to support customers and company guidelines
Monitor and take prompt action on any issues that may arise during order management (invoice resolution, price discrepancy resolution, material availability).
Keeps key business stake holders informed of customer issues and requirements.
Demonstrates time management skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities.
Knowledge of key ERP operations/systems, order entry, invoicing, purchasing, inventory and shipping.
Identifies process improvement and efficiency opportunities to reduce complexity in work flow and increased productivity within work stream area.
Identifies and escalates customer issues and is involved in finding solutions.
Understands e-Commerce concepts and tools (future requirement).
Demonstrates decision making skills to effectively manage process adherence and maintain customer relationships.
Examples include but are not limited to expediting, alternate packaging offerings, complimentary products and promotional items.
Effectively manage, customer returns and customer risk prioritization during high volume time periods throughout the year.
Understands industry and markets for customer base, our products, production, supply chain and warehouse requirement
Maintains open order report through daily monitoring and discrepancy resolution.
Requirements:
Experience working in a B-to-B wholesale/distribution environment.
  • Computer proficiency required. fundamentals of MS Office, Web-based applications & ERP system(s).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understands eCommerce concepts and tools.
  • Contributing team member on projects with demonstrated team working skills.
  • Adapts well to new technologies and processes.
  • Strong problem solving/solution orientation.

Job Requirements JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensures customer care and selling are #1 priority. * Ensures that promotional programs and ads are maintained, signed and replenished for the entire event or ad. * Assists the Reset team associates in completing major department resets. * Knowledgeable on display and sign standards for end caps and drive aisle displays. * Assists and supports all pricing, signing and display guidelines set by the pricing team. * Executes department maintenance as directed in the Counter Detail schedule by ensuring all displays are well clean, maintenanced, planogram integrity is maintained and close dated / outdated product is handled according to procedures. * Is proficient in the use of RES and all Hardlines Signing Standards. * Reviews discontinued / clearance merchandise weekly and ensure that items are properly displayed and ticketed. * Processes inbound freight, excess merchandise and displays per instructions provided. * Knowledgeable on product assortment, marketing events and promotions. * Knows the store, services and location of merchandise. Tours area of responsibility daily and maintains visual appearance of department. * Demonstrates strong skill set in suggestive selling techniques. Uses the P.A. system effectively to promote advertised goods. * Actively engages customers using the Welcome, Assist and Thank approach to servicing customers. Demonstrates take the customer to the merchandise policy. Assists in handling and solving customer needs and escalates issues and complaints to a member of management. * Promotes the use of SYWR, credit card, Smart Plans, Replacement Plans and add-on sales. * Operates equipment safely and follows company safety programs. REQUIRED SKILLS: * Strong reading, writing, verbal, and arithmetic skills. * Ability to lift and move merchandise, typically a minimum of 20lbs., but could be as much as 100lbs. * Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. * Repetitive bending, lifting, stretching and reaching. * Positive and friendly demeanor. * Ability to be cross trained.
