Serves as Hotline Operator answering inquiries through the Customer Service Hotline, while providing administrative support for department manager and station operations.

Duties & Responsibilities
Using empathy, active listening, patience, problem solving and excellent communication skills, answers incoming customer calls and resolves (when possible) customer complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
Refers unresolved complaints to supervisor as necessary.
Assist repair facilities with inquiries regarding testing procedures.
Monitor's station wait times and notifies appropriate department manager.
Processes out of State Extensions and electric vehicle exemptions, including logging and tracking monthly.
Files and tracks Repair Data Forms for accurate completion of the Vehicle Emission Repair Index.
Generates test volume, BMV transaction, tests per labor hour and station start-up reports and distributes as appropriate.
Monitors and tracks completed customer experience surveys and Google reviews, reporting on program statistics monthly.
Assists department managers in interview scheduling and other aspects of the new hire process as directed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Basic problem solving skills
Qualifications:
High school diploma required.
Minimum 2 years clerical/administrative experience
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to answer high volume of telephone calls.
Valid Driver's License and excellent driving record.
Successful completion of criminal and civil background checks
