Responsibilities

Every day in nearly 100 countries around the world millions of people depend on Daktronics scoring and display systems for information and entertainment. Our displays provide vital travel information in airports and train stations and along highways. They advertise the price of gas store specials and more as you make your daily commute. They also enhance spectator's experiences at sporting events of all kinds from Little League to the major leagues. Duties:

  • Monitor stocking levels of materials and supplies needed to support production.

  • Communicate with purchasing agents.

  • Unload and store raw materials using overhead cranes and forklifts.

  • Load outgoing freight (up to 30 ft. long crates).

  • Organize and maintain a finished good inventory to be pulled as needed for customers.

  • Communicate with supervisors and engineering to anticipate the increased needs of all departments.

  • Work unsupervised safely and effectively. Must be able to follow instructions.

  • Be at work on time and maintain good attendance. Be able to meet trucks as they arrive.

  • Perform other duties as needed to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED. Prefer post high school training.

  • Physical requirements:

  • Ability to read fine print with or without use of corrective lenses.

  • Ability to stand and/or sit for the entire shift.

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy (up to 50 lbs) and/or awkward items.

  • Work with your hands.

  • Depending on workload be able to stand and/or sit for the full shift.

  • Distinguish and identify wire colors.

  • Work with some process related odors.

  • Ability to operate a forklift. Forklift training will be provided.

  • Computer skills Glovia and MP2 experience preferred.

  • Able to organize work and prioritize when required.

  • Good communication and interaction skills. Fluent in English, written and verbal.

  • Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team.

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.

  • Ability to learn quickly.

  • Ability to travel by air and ground. Have a valid driver's license and good driving record. Motor vehicle records will be checked.

  • Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment.
