Volt is immediately hiring a Customer Service Manager in Rumford, RI.

As a Customer Service Manager, you will:

  • Interface with Customers in support of new business opportunities as well as existing programs

  • Apply experience and knowledge as it relates to Planning, Procurement and Customer Service to improve the overall service, efficiency and effectiveness

  • Conduct analysis of customer forecasts, historical sales data and apply company internal parameters to reduce raw material purchase/process costs

  • Optimize production schedules to maximize manufacturing efficiency, and manage company inventory in accordance with prescribed parameters

  • Work with the Supply Chain Manager to establish and monitor department goals and objectives

  • Conduct and/or direct the training of new employees within the customer service department

  • Prepare employee performance related documentation

This is DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • 5 years of Customer Service or Planning experience within a manufacturing company

  • 5 years of supervisory experience

  • ERP and/or SAP software experience

  • Effective time management skills to prioritize workload

  • Strong motivator and communicator to help team achieve goals and objectives

Pay rate: $80,000 - $100,000

  • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
