As a Customer Service Manager at Valmet, you build strong relationships within Valmet and our external customers. Your ability to provide cross functional support for your team including researching equipment components, establishing pricing and supporting quotations to the customer will ensure the success of your customer-oriented team. You direct your team to enter orders in the ERP system, create invoices and provide exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing a customer service team with responsibility for all customer order functions.
Expectations
To excel in the role, you should have a solid understanding of the business environment and great organizational skills. You'll consult and work with other managers and service team members to ensure top quality work and the highest levels of customer satisfaction. You will have to be proficient in business applications including MS Office and ERP Systems. You should have a high level of general proficiency and the ability to learn and navigate new software systems.
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Business and/or Engineering and three to five years related experience and/or training. You must be able to read and interpret detailed drawings.
Travel within the US up to 25% will be expected.
Strong communication skills for verbal and written communication. Manage multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must be self-directed and motivated with the ability to interact with customers as required. Technical understanding of industrial and utility boilers is a plus. Pulp and paper industry experience is also a plus.
