Responsibilities:

At Office Depot and Office Max, our Customer Service Manager will partner with the management team in driving a memorable customer experience through leadership, communication, integrity and passion for the brand. In partnership with the management team, S/he will provide guidance and direction to Front End associates and will facilitate ongoing training on the business model.

The person in this position will also work closely with our Print Services associates, and will have accountability to drive the sales of Print Services and properly assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction in every interaction.This person will motivate and inspire associates to build strong relationships and create an environment which increases customer retention. The Customer Service Manager will proactively engage with customers to exceed their needs, ensure a positive customer experience and work to generate revenue by driving a sales culture. Builds ongoing customer relationships and become a trusted advisor by utilizing advanced selling skills and knowledge.

Acts as a Change Champion, supporting implemented change. The Customer Service Manager will also be a Key Carrier, and while functioning in this role, will be considered the Leader on Duty.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor'sdegree preferred

Other Information:

  • Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or other related field preferred

  • Minimum two years experience in retail, including a supervisory role in a sales driven customer environment

Position Summary: We are seeking a sharply focused, entrepreneurial, highly ethical, and motivated Customer Service/Showroom Representative to work in our state of the art call center who thrives in a fast paced environment. Parts experience a plus. Essential Job functions: * Answer incoming calls and place orders Utilize essential and basic resources to complete product research and sourcing Maintain proper phone etiquette Maintain protocol to ensure appropriate time management and highest level of customer service Prompt follow-up with customer (2 hrs. maximum) Provide customer service to all customers who need items we do not stock Work through freight claims and do freight quotes Participate in training initiatives * Assists showroom walk in customers with orders and purchases Assist in the maintenance and inventory of the showroom Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the showroom, merchandising, cleaning, etc Assist in maintaining accurate pricing Non Essential Job Functions: Work on miscellaneous projects as requested by manager Other duties as assigned Education or Formal Training: * High School Diploma or GED Job Qualifications: * Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in parts, telephone sales and restaurant equipment Restaurant knowledge or knowledge of parts, plumbing, or appliances Able to type 40wpm a plus Must be able to communicate and listen effectively * Attention to Detail Physical Requirements: * Position requires individual to utilize a computer for long periods of time Position requires individual to work independently * Position requires lifting over 50 lbs We Offer: * In depth product, software training. * A Competitive compensation and benefits package including 401K Retirement Plan with the potential of an employer matching program, medical, dental and life insurance, and Long Term Disability.
