The Customer Service Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Customer Departments and their employees in our Masterbatch Business units.
Expedite orders requested from customers
Assures the communication of product and process information to customers and outside sales people
Manage the receipt and disposition of customer complaints within the limits of authority
Ensure participation and cooperation in company implemented ESHA programs. Follow all company safety rules
Key Internal relationships
Review orders with CSR's and production personnel to update when lots should be shipped
Negotiate production policies and schedules with manufacturing personnel
Manage sample screening process in conjunction with laboratory personnel
Training and recruiting
Train department personnel and provide coverage where needed
Interviews and hires qualified applicants and is responsible for appropriate training
Conduct annual performance reviews and recommends salary adjustments
Directly supervises CSR's
Responsibilities include: planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees
Other responsibilities: addressing complaints and resolving problems
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
Minimum of 5 to 7 years successful customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
