Description:

The Prime Finance business provides it hedge fund clients with first class service, leveraging Citi's global footprint. Some of the services provided include:

  • Prime Brokerage

  • Securities Lending

  • Derivative Clearing

  • Foreign Exchange

Job Purpose:

To be a team member within the Prime Finance Middle Office providing support to both the prime finance business and our Prime Brokerage clients.

Manage the processing of standard and complex customer transactions (securities settlement, money wires, book transfers)

  • Respond to telephone inquiries within 3 ring standard, immediate resolution of general and some complex questions to customers satisfaction

  • Proactively monitor customer accounts and surface issues and provide solutions to customers

  • Assist in the completion of daily, weekly and monthly deliverables and projects. May conduct/participate in client visits and calls to discuss service issues.

Qualifications

Requirements to include:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years experience in Securities Operations environment.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and team work skills.

  • Must demonstrate a high level of initiative.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Strong PC skills with technical proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Access.

This position is for a professional capable of conducting testing activities by emulating an AML Investigative Analyst user role, as well as, considering the technical and business impact of changes to the systems environment. This testing role requires basic understanding of data flow architecture, system integration, database behavior, and testing strategy. Key Responsibilities: * Perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) for AML system initiatives; specifically, evaluate the components of the test that rely on the Investigative Analyst perspective. * Perform system regression testing where necessary. * Be capable of reviewing alerts on the system and follow standard AML investigation process as defined by Operations Procedures to ensure the testing of systems functionalities has a deep perspective of an analyst requirement. Work with automated testing tools such as Test Director or HP Quality Center. * Help to evaluate external IT testing methodologies, and upcoming tools supporting management on adopting them when applicable. * Help design, develop and implement test plans, scripts, and tools using the detailed business requirements document provided by the business analysts. * Building and applying knowledge of anti-money laundering processes Qualifications * Strong computer skills – especially proficient in Windows applications (Word, Excel, etc.) * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required * 2 - 5 years of relevant experience required * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Experience with software development lifecycle * 1-2 yrs Testing experience desired * Experience in banking operations or compliance * AML conceptual understanding is a plus * Banking / Finance / Business background * Follow instructions & document results * Working knowledge of ACTIMIZE/ HPQC/ Mantas/ SQL Apply Now Citigroup Inc.
