As a Customer Service Associate for Parts Sales, you will be responsive to the FMC aftermarket customer's needs by processing customer inquiries and orders. This includes accurately identifying parts needed, communicating pricing and availability, coordinating with technical support and warranty, working with Parts Inventory Coordinator to ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped, and creating sales orders and customer invoices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer incoming Parts telephone and email inquiries, and return voicemails.
Help customers identify and confirm replacement part(s) needed over phone and email.
Send accurate emailed quotes and expected lead times to customers
Create sales orders in our ERP system when orders are received
Manage order fulfillment process when shipments originate from remote FMC locations.
Process payments
Coordinate and process any returns and manage customer refunds when needed.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Proficient with Office 365 tools like Outlook email, Teams IM, MS Excel, and excellent general data entry / typing ability.
Strong phone and email communication skills, responsiveness, and detailed follow-up.
Some experience with and mechanical knowledge of class 8 trucks and parts preferred.
