The Role:

We are looking for individuals to join our Service Team! As a Customer Service Greeter, you will act as the Lead for the service drive process by helping to coordinate support staff member duties and controlling the flow of traffic through the drive. Your goal will be to provide a warm and welcoming reception for service customers. This new position will play a critical role within the company as a crucial part of our Service Department.

  • Prepare appointment packets for incoming service customers.

  • Prepare appointment log for incoming service customers.

  • Organize and maintain inventory of appointment hats for service drive system.

  • Place and move service drive cones, organize their layout, and maintain the inventory.

  • Prepare the service drive for customer arrival each day, moving, or coordinating the movement, of any vehicles left in the service drive from the previous day's business.

  • Greet Service Guests arriving at the Dealership. Locate Guest's name on the Appointment Log and located the Appointment Packet associated with that specific Guest.

  • Direct the flow of guest traffic heading into the Service Drive.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and abide by all company procedures as outlined in the Associate Handbook.

  • Perform all duties not herein listed but as requested by the Service Manager.

The Pay:

  • $12.00/hour.

What you bring to the table:

  • Must have High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of Guests or Associates of H&H Automotive.

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical skills at a high school level.

  • Ability to use computer and tablet software systems associated with Service Department activities.

  • Ability to type information into spreadsheets.

  • Ability to use email and scheduling software.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Dealership and/or Insurance Company.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.

  • The Associate frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

  • The Associate is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.

  • The Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
