Customer Service Representative (Pawn Broker) Job Responsibilities

This role will give you the unique opportunity to interact with our customers on a daily basis, providing assistance with sales, enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more. As part of our Customer Service team in our stores, you will provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that continues to set EZCORP apart from the competition. Other Customer Service duties include but are not limited to:

  • Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone

  • Processing sales, loans, and extensions

  • Coming to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned

  • Performing opening and closing store procedures

  • Contacting customers to generate new and repeat business

Requirements for the Customer Service Representative (Pawnbroker) role include:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience or retail experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Work well independently and as member of a Team

  • Multitask

  • Ability to offer and describe various solutions and benefits to the customer

  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

  • Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus

  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and regulations

  • Sales background, a plus

  • Bilingual, a plus

VIEW JOBS 1/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-12T00:00 JOB SUMMARY: Garlock Pipeline Technologies (GPT), an EnPro Industries company, is currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our customer service team out of our location in Wheat Ridge, just northwest of downtown Denver. The Customer Service Specialist will work in a fast-paced ever changing environment and will be responsible for the orders from domestic and potentially international customers, specifically for the GPT product line and brands. The customers are distributors focused mainly in Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) within industries such as oil and gas, water or wastewater treatment, and construction or infrastructure. The Customer Service Specialist will provide quality service and detailed data entry on all orders, pricing, contract review, product specializations, quotes, bids, returns, and credit requests.
