Function Job Description

Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you'll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working "from shelf to field," you'll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.

The Customer Service Coordinator Intern is the primary point of contact for order management activities with internal and external stakeholders. The primary responsibility is to ensure accuracy and timeliness of sales orders by coordinating activities with groups including but not limited to B2B, Sales Services, Forecasting, Product Supply, Financial Services, and the External Customer.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for focus on customer relationships with an emphasis on ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy of quantities and pricing.

  • Requires the ability to exercise independent thinking to meet the demands of customer service.

  • Manage the coordination of distribution, Inventory Replenishment and Transportation for a seamless process to the customer.

  • Provide updates and communications as required. Send cuts reports to stakeholders with root cause analysis.

  • Handle accounts that are deemed as high volume or needing special attention.

  • Schedule receiving appointments where applicable.

  • Observe promo calendar to understand customer future needs, working with supply and demand teams to ensure orders fill in full and track post event results.

  • Maintain and update customer profiles for ease of information access.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in: Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration.

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a preferred expected graduation date between December 2024 and May 2025.

  • Must live in or near the Wilkes Barre, PA area (housing or transportation will not be provided for this opportunity).

  • Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Mondelēz International (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status.

Compensation

  • The expected compensation weekly pay ranges for interns is $900 - $1,150.

  • Compensation rates for Summer Interns is pre-determined and non-negotiable.
