Working full time you could be greeting customers at the welcome desk, helping them at the counter or working on other branch tasks.

VIEW JOBS 1/13/2023 12:00:00 AM 2023-04-13T00:00 <p>Description and Functions</p><p>Open Until Filled</p><p>GENERAL DESCRIPTION:</p><p>This position provides fire education, mitigation, prevention, suppression, and medical treatment at an appropriate EMS level for Camp Guernsey and associated training lands.</p><p>Human Resource Contact: 307-777-8121 beth.baker3@wyo.gov</p><p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed at the job level.</p><ul><li><p>Lead crews in the accomplishment of fire suppression, rescue, emergency medical treatment, and fire prevention services.</p></li><li><p>Act as the first responder to incidents requiring emergency medical treatment.</p></li><li><p>Assist the Firefighter I levels in training, work assignments, and daily activities as a group leader.</p></li><li><p>Assume responsibility for the performance and safety of assigned firefighting.</p></li><li><p>Make on-sight technical decisions about the best methods of extinguishing fires after evaluating the fire and receiving assignments from command officers.</p></li><li><p>Provide information to the public concerning fire prevention practices and procedures.</p></li><li><p>Conduct public education programs.</p></li><li><p>Participate in the development of programs for department use.</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><p>PREFERENCES/AGENCY REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>Preference will be given to those with an Associate's plus two years of Firefighting experience.
