Customer Service Assistant

About the role

We're looking for a friendly, helpful person to join the team in our Quinton branch. The role is at the heart of the local community, supporting a wide range of customers, in a welcoming environment, where every day is different.

This is a part time role working Thursday and Friday 8.45am- 5pm plus every other Saturday 8.45am- 12.30pm with time given back in lieu.

It will suit someone who's at ease with people, and able to support them in a caring, friendly and efficient manner. It involves finding solutions for customers, keeping up to date with our services and policies and staying on top of admin. Dealing with cash transactions carefully and accurately are among its key responsibilities as well as taking calls and other duties for our greater Customer Service area.

About you

For this role you'll be a people person and it'll be important that you can engage with a diverse range of people, find out how to help them best and give them a great experience with us.

To be successful in this role its essential you have:

• Current experience interacting directly with customers and providing great service on a daily basis
• Recent retail, call centre or customer focused background

Desirable experience will include:

• Experience of cash handling
• Processing customer details or data accurately
