Brown & Brown is looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our Commercial Lines team in New Jersey! This role can be based in Marmora, NJ or Glassboro, NJ.
We are excited to provide training and development for this entry level opportunity. This role requires full-time, in-office availability Monday-Friday and is an excellent start to a career in the Insurance industry.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Retrieve policy documents from carrier website for new business, cancellations, endorsements, audits, non-pay & reinstatement notices.
Policy checking for new business, re-writes & endorsements.
Process endorsement and certificate requests as received daily.
Process cancellations, non-pay notices & reinstatements.
Support in the processing binders of insurance, policies and audits.
Handle billing inquiries.
Maintain account files in an orderly sequence according to established procedures.
Enter all required data into system to maintain current file data.
Maintain follow-up system for correspondence/requests.
Provide back-up to other Commercial Assistants.
Scanning and other clerical tasks, as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
High School diploma or equivalent, required
1+ years' office experience, preferred
Active Property & Casualty license, or willingness to obtain, required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, required
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, required
