Brown & Brown is looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our Commercial Lines team in New Jersey! This role can be based in Marmora, NJ or Glassboro, NJ.

We are excited to provide training and development for this entry level opportunity. This role requires full-time, in-office availability Monday-Friday and is an excellent start to a career in the Insurance industry.


  • Retrieve policy documents from carrier website for new business, cancellations, endorsements, audits, non-pay & reinstatement notices.

  • Policy checking for new business, re-writes & endorsements.

  • Process endorsement and certificate requests as received daily.

  • Process cancellations, non-pay notices & reinstatements.

  • Support in the processing binders of insurance, policies and audits.

  • Handle billing inquiries.

  • Maintain account files in an orderly sequence according to established procedures.

  • Enter all required data into system to maintain current file data.

  • Maintain follow-up system for correspondence/requests.

  • Provide back-up to other Commercial Assistants.

  • Scanning and other clerical tasks, as assigned.


  • High School diploma or equivalent, required

  • 1+ years' office experience, preferred

  • Active Property & Casualty license, or willingness to obtain, required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, required

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, required

VIEW JOBS 9/12/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-12-11T00:00 <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p><p>Reports To: Director MCRSS</p><p>Trainings: Annual, CPI, QPR/T</p><p>Position Summary:</p><p>Supervise a staff of mobile crisis response workers and manage stabilization services for Atlantic and Cape May County's. Responsible for de-escalating crises, developing clarity with the family about the underlying issues which precipitated the crisis, completing an assessment and crisis plan, and get the client into treatment in order to stabilize the child and family. Demonstrate technical and clinical skills including crisis intervention, assessment, and service planning, case management, and systems negotiations. Provide weekly clinical supervision in an individual or group setting. While the program coordinator is not responsible for performance evaluations or disciplinary action, the position required that the program coordinator provide input into performance evaluations or disciplinary actions for the staff they supervise, and any clerical staff that may be involved with the operations of the MCRSS.</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Conduct case safety risk assessments. Alert supervisor of safety concerns. Behave in accordance with safety tips, policy, and procedures</p></li><li><p>Provide on-call coverage when office is not open, or understaffed as agreed upon with Director.</p></li><li><p>Provide crisis intervention, assessment, crisis planning, linkage, case management, and discharge planning for children and families.</p></li><li><p>Utilize MRSS clinical tools (CAT and ICP) and measurements in service delivery.</p></li><li><p>Review ICP's developed by the staff to ensure that the appropriate level of care is being utilized, and the treatment plan is clinically supported.</p></li><li><p>Review cases with the staff to develop a preliminary diagnosis.</p></li><li><p>Collect and analyze outcome data supporting network utilization and adherence to established standards, Provide necessary documents to the Quality Assurance Specialist within the specific timeline. Facilitate the evaluation proc3ss by participation in the Client Questionnaire process.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate professional responsibility in making effective use of individual and group supervision, program meetings, agency resources, and training sessions.</p></li><li><p>Work cooperatively and effectively with staff from referral sources, other community agencies, and stabilization provider networks regarding case management issues and linkages to stabilization and aftercare services.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate competence in working independently where crisis may occur.</p></li><li><p>Develops and executes affiliation agreements and/or subcontractors which support the crisis stabilization network.</p></li><li><p>Works with the state, utilizing quality and other relevant data, to identify crisis stabilization gaps in Union County and which support the expansion and/or implementation of new services.</p></li><li><p>Documentation must be completed within one (1) business day of service delivery</p></li></ul><p>Minimal Qualifications:</p><p>Master's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, criminal justice, special education, or a related discipline.</p><p>Licensure: Clinical License Preferred Mandatory if Project Director is not clinically licensed</p><p>Certifications: NJ MRSS Certification required-- current certification or obtain within one year of hire or transfer; maintain certification throughout employment</p><p>Valid NJ driver's license required</p><p>Equipment Use: Computer, copier, facsimile, typewriter and shredder.</p><p>The above statement reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the position.</p><p>Marmora40.00NoNoCrisis Mobile ResponseBehavioral Health</p><br> Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, Inc.
