This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As the Customer Segment Lead you will be responsible for:

  • Bringing to life customer segments (inside and outside of the lab) across geographies

  • Gaining deep insights on customer targets (laboratorians, hospital administration, reference labs, ministries of health, etc.) building keen understanding to contribute to the overall CLS business strategy

  • Codify data & customer intelligence to develop playbook, train Zone Marketing & Sales in these strategies, and build external stories for digital and PR/Influencer activation.

  • Collaborating with sales and Digital Execution to utilize case studies and proof points in social media and external channels

  • Participate in structured action planning to leverage customer learnings

  • Supporting the CLS Marketing strategies with insights, and segment strategies to build brand reputation, increase market share, customer satisfaction, and retention

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market segments, customer profiles and competitive landscapes to provide recommendations to support the CLS Business Line strategy

  • Work closely with the marketing teams to provide data-driven insights that contribute to the marketing strategies, product position and customer targeting

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role, preferably in marketing or market research agency.

  • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, data analysis, and statistical techniques.

  • Shown demonstrated success in creating and quantifying value propositions to showcase the clinical, operational, and financial value of solutions

  • Experience in developing customer case studies and proof points

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders

  • Creative. Diversity of thinking. Inclusive. Uniquely able to see new opportunities, solutions, angles in developing programs and solving challenges

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • 10+ of relevant commercial (e.g., sales, service, marketing) experience in healthcare

  • Laboratory diagnostics required

  • Subject matter expertise in hospital and reference lab environments required, prior experience as a med-tech/laboratorian preferred

  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and presentation skills

  • Collaborative with ability to work across business lines and partner to build consensus and achieve results

  • Demonstrated success in creating and quantifying value propositions to showcase the clinical, operational, and financial value of solutions

  • Experience in developing and implementing sales training programs

  • Demonstrated ability to envision possibilities, lead teams and drive results.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage across the matrix in the context of a large global company.

  • Previous experience in both Global Marketing and Country Marketing roles a plus.

  • Bachelor degree in business; life sciences; engineering or related technical discipline. MBA is preferred

The pay range for this position is $163,000.00 to $224,000.00 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is (15%) of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
