POSITION: Specialist, Customer Sales

COMPENSATION: Non-Exempt / Hourly. Pursuant to Colorado regulations, if this job is performed in Colorado, the salary range is $21-$26/hr plus bonus potential. Eligible to participate in the company benefits plan. We offer health, vision, dental, and pet insurance. REPORTS TO: Director, Centralized Services

SUMMARY:

As a Customer Sales Specialist, you will join Cardinal's internal Centralized Services team to provide advanced leasing support to our student housing and conventional communities. Your primary responsibilities will include responding to incoming phone, email, and SMS inquiries from prospective residents and outbound phone calls, emails, and SMS messages, to help further their journey to finding a new home with Cardinal Group.

This role will be a part of Cardinal Group's new centralized services team and can be performed remotely or at our HQ office in Denver, CO. Although your role is remote and reports to the centralized services team, you will work closely with the onsite leasing team members at contracted communities to provide consistent, expectation-exceeding customer service to our prospective future residents.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to):

  • Operate in Cardinal Group's contact center software platform for assisting prospective new residents with their apartment search across our portfolio of student housing, conventional, and affordable communities.

  • Professionally represent Cardinal Group and our communities in every interaction with prospective future residents.

  • Answer incoming phone calls, emails, text messages, and chats courteously and professionally, while following the Cardinal Way Of Leasing to ensure that each interaction is an opportunity to further the prospect's customer journey with Cardinal Group.

  • Identify opportunities to maximize prospects' full potential through other Cardinal communities in markets with multiple assets, to ensure the prospect has the most options available for their search.

  • Establish a strong relationship with prospective residents while determining needs and preferences for the prospect's apartment home search to ultimately drive the best experience.

  • Use best-in-class systems, built for CGC, to assist with any additional questions regarding the community and amenities.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with on-site team members to ensure remote leasing efforts provide a seamless transition to the onsite experience.

  • Participates in Cardinal U training as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience.

  • Effective communication skills.

  • High energy and enjoy a fast-paced environment.

  • Consistently providing excellent service and creating memorable experiences for both on-site team members and prospective residents.

  • Focus on delivering, a warm, friendly, and helpful experience for all prospective members.

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft and Google systems.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Available to work evenings and weekends.

  • Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day.

The employee must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver office products and supplies of up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Routine local travel may be required to attend training classes, client visits, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position. Overnight travel required to attend company functions, training, property visits, and other situations necessary for the accomplishment of special projects that may be assigned from time to time.
