Customer Sales & Service Rep I/ Driver - Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)

Position Overview

This will be a duel role of Bilingual Customer Sales & Service Representatives (CSSRs) and Driver. In this role our CSSR/Driver needs to be knowledgeable, energetic and consistently deliver the best overall customer experience. To succeed in this role, you need to be passionate and customer obsessed while serving commercial and residential consumers in the green industry. As well as, responsible for operating SiteOne vehicles to deliver world class service and products to our customers. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, in addition to working with teammates to ensure the branch is operating successfully.

What you'll do:

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all SiteOne customers

• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers

• Assist customers with their questions and needs, either in person, via the phone or through online ordering

• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery

• Load and unload products for deliveries

• Make deliveries and ensure product arrives undamaged

• Operate vehicle in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations

• Perform job duties within our safety guidelines. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Lifting and managing heavy objects

• Working in all weather conditions (drivers must be prepared to work in hot and cold temperatures).

• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you

• Proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow sales with current and potential customers

• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance

• Assist with merchandising product, managing inventory, and other store tasks while maintaining a safe working environment.

Skills We Are Seeking

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail or wholesale setting, preferred

• Valid Class C license

• Driving experience, preferred

• Bilingual Proficiency - candidates who are conversational in English/Spanish are preferred.

• Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records

• Ability to perform regular bending, lifting up to 65 lbs., stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head

• Excellent customer service skills

• Green industry experience or knowledge of landscape, nursery, or irrigation product a plus

• Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working

• Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions

• Inventory management experience helpful

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
