Title: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Developer (Oracle Service Cloud aka RightNow)

Location: Prefer Austin, TX or Morrisville, NC; may consider other U.S. Conduent locations

Position Overview:

  • The CRM Developer will use web development skills to implement, update, edit and/or change existing framework, add-ins, widgets and code as well as API calls to connect with other software solutions.

  • Implement Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

  • Establish and meet projected timelines and will work independently or as a member of a team.

  • Develop and troubleshoot a CRM and customer portal enhancements/issues, diagnose connection issues of 3rd party software and implement various changes within the CRM console environment.

  • Work with various clients to obtain and document requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be currently eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship.

  • 2-3 years' experience with Oracle Service Cloud aka RightNow or other CRM tools (e.g. SalesForce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamic, SAP CRM, NetSuite or Zoho CRM etc).

  • Experience using REST and SOAP API in Web applications.

  • Object Oriented Programming experience.

  • Experience understanding, writing and implementing business rules requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Web Services experience.

  • Basic experience using MS Office (Excel, Skype/Lync and Outlook)

Experience with following is a plus:

  • Ajax

  • Java

  • C#

  • PHP

  • PHP framework Code Igniter

  • .NET

  • JavaScript / JQuery and other JavaScript Framework libraries

The individual selected for this position will work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment following the concepts and methodologies of Agile development. While under the direction of the Application Development Manager and Technical/Team Lead, this individual will participate in the development of project plans based on stakeholder requirements. Using their skills, expertise and drive for excellence - this individual will deliver the best possible performance and usability while meeting the scheduled timeline. Analysis, design, programming, testing, technical assistance and documentation are key responsibilities for the person filling this position. The candidate that will fill this position must be delivery-focused and possess the technical skills to work independently as a member of a dedicated team of professionals. Work is performed with a significant degree of creativity and latitude supporting cross-agency business process analysis projects for all HHS agencies. Essential Job Functions: Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned. Designs, develops and maintains agency software in support of one or more of the components associated with and in support of the HHSC System. Works closely with systems analysts to design, develop and test interfaces, using current software design/development methods/techniques products and relational database management technologies. Uses established development standards (to include programming, documentation and testing standards) to ensure quality and maintainability of applications and systems. Participates in code walk-throughs to ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements (45%) Attains proficiency in all aspects of the software/system component(s) by learning the business rules, functional requirements, development standards, data design/structures, data/process flows and customer interfaces associated with the applicable system(s). Develops/maintains expertise in a variety of tools required to develop/maintain the software/system component(s). This includes staying current on the technology updates/development techniques for areas of responsibility.
