What You Will Do

All Lowe's associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products customers need. As a Customer Service Associate Sales Floor, this means:

  • Being friendly and professional, and engaging customers to help with project needs and answer questions.

  • Ensuring merchandise is accurately accounted for, handled, and ready for customer pick-up.

  • Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

The Customer Service Associate Sales Floor delivers excellent customer service by listening to customers, using expertise to help customers, and loading merchandise for customers. Overall, most of this associate's time is spent interacting with our customers and ensuring they receive the best possible shopping and project planning experience.

Travel Requirements:
This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel on occasion to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

  • Hourly Full Time or Part Time: Generally scheduled 39 to 40 or up to 25 hours per week, respectively; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store.

  • Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week.

  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.

  • Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance.

What You Need To Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
  • 6 months experience using a handheld device (e.g., mobile phone, LRT gun, palm pilot, tablet, iPod) to enter, access, and output information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in trade related to department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden).
  • 1 year of retail experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits.
  • 1 year of retail experience providing customer service, including identifying and resolving customer issues, assisting customers in locating product, greeting customers, answering phones, building relationships with customers, and thanking customers for their business.
  • 1 year of retail merchandising experience, including performing Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping.
  • 1 year of retail experience in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden).
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden).
  • 1 year of experience working in any department at a Lowe's retail store.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience in any field, including directing, evaluating, and coaching employees.

If the state or local municipality requires a salesperson license for this position, you must either be licensed or pass the requisite licensing exam within sixty (60) days of starting employment in this position.

VIEW JOBS 12/6/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-05T00:00 Operations Readiness Analyst: This is a role within the TTS Operations Team that will be based in each of the LMS Hubs (Tampa, Dublin and Mumbai). The role is responsible to support end-to-end delivery and operation tasks of the strategic roadmap for LMS globally. The role will require to perform structured product and operational analysis in order to create Business requirements documentation, co-ordinate product management and technology. In addition, this person will support coordinating SME support to various teams during the initiatives life cycle, participating in scrums, sprints and PVT scheduling and execution. This person must have the ability to handle multiple initiatives concurrently as well as manage direct and indirect staff in multiple locations around the globe. Proven Project Management skills are also essential. This person will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful launches, expansions and incremental releases for all sets of liquidity and investment products. The individual will function in an Client Ops leadership role, working with the Operation SME teams in the Hubs, Production Support, Development Team, Implementation teams and Technology teams, solve problems and communicate status on readiness. The person will be responsible to also deliver internal commercialization, and ensure new processes and controls are in written, updated and deployed for Operations. Also partner with Service and/ or other organizations to determine servicing roadmap post implementation. Job background/ context: The LMS range of products assist clients to manage their income as efficiently as possible by providing general treasury management services like concentration, pooling and investment. Over 75% of our high intensity clients utilize concentration type products. From Target Balancing (intra & end of day), Pooling, and interest arrangements to Investments, all aspects of the market and our infrastructure and approach to business management should be aligned & have pristine controls. With the development & streamlining of platform enhancements each assigned to the respective streams below, this strategy is the back bone of our LMS capability globally. LMS broadly offer four types of services: 1 – Concentration Services - servicing all concentration services and balance optimization functions, i.e. X-Border, Domestic & Multi Bank Sweeps intraday and end of day (Currently serviced by GCE and ITBA) across regions to be streamlined to Global Concentration Engine (GCE). 2 – Pooling Services - servicing multi-currency notional pooling via Global Notional Pooling - (GBNP). GBNP also manages interest calculations and reallocation services. 3 – Investment Options - servicing all investment services, i.e. Money Market placements, Time deposits, investment sweeps etc via Global Investment Platform - (GIP). Key responsibilities: Act as central point of contact with the countries and key stakeholders, supporting requirements, readiness and end users validations.
