What you'll do?

Customer Quality Engineering Supervisor (CQES)

The principal responsibilities of the Customer Quality Engineering Supervisor is to ensure that the supervisor and team serve as the single point of contact with the customer, providing timely and appropriate responses. Coach and mentor team members to develop and enhance customer relations

CQES Role & Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Plant Quality Manager (PQM).

  • Single point of contact for the customer.

  • Responsible for Quality information management to the customer.

  • Coordinates on-site sorting activities and any rework activity at the customer facility in relation with the internal activities.

  • Requests the return of the defective products and manage the parts at reception.

  • Coordinates the problem solving for all customer quality concerns. Interfaces with the customer and the problem solving team.

  • Responsible for on-time responses per customer requirements.

  • Coordinates the warranty activities at the plant and the related compensation claims in response to the customer requests.

  • Escalates the product and process concerns.

  • Supports the launches of new products, customer changes, and CFTs.

  • Supports reviews, submittals, and approvals of customer PPAPs

  • Responsible for acting on customer rating and scorecards improvements

  • Involves negotiations of NCEs and rejects

  • Coordinates customer, supplier, and special visits and audits

  • Responsible for supplying data on time (NCE status, rejected quantities) for QSR reporting, etc.

  • Identification, recording, and championing of VEVA activities

  • Small sales (NEOS) orders

  • Supports Action Order process and ensures orders are in line with manufacturing plans

  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll bring

Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Engineering or related field strongly desired or

equivalent related experience required. Supervisory experience is preferred.

The Director Surgical Services has 24/7 responsibility for their departments.
