Banner is seeking a talented, self-motivated individual to join our growing Lighting group, and who will be responsible for enabling the overall market success of new and existing integrated lighting solutions. The ideal individual for this position will have proficiency in key areas including customer engagement, project execution, collaboration, strategy, and training. In this role you'll be involved with a unique combination of lighting solutions to meet the explicit and implicit needs of our customers globally. This is an important role, and is a key driver for Banner to increase our revenue and global market share in the industrial automation market.
Identify and thoroughly explore customer pain points to create solutions which provide customer value.
Visit existing and potential customers to evaluate explicit/implicit needs and promote Banner solutions.
Work with Sales to create a targeted sales strategy for new solutions or to meet new market trends.
Build target customer lists and channel strategies to reach them.
Effectively utilize internal resources to ensure customer solution integration success.
Record key data and engage in regular communication with external and internal customers.
Lead and participate in other special projects as assigned.
Internal Engagement and Collaboration
Lead collaboration with Sales and Marketing to create and measure key launch milestones and objectives, target customer activity, sales tools and collateral deployment, solution availability, and market positioning as well as applicable conversion programs.
Support the Marketing group to manage lighting solutions and content on Banner's website.
Assist Sales in assessing top market opportunities to drive successful sales strategies.
Engage with all Banner business units to seek out opportunities to combine technologies.
Research and identify market opportunities and trends; understand and report competitors' strategies and technology trends; recommend strategic activities and tactics to provide competitive advantage(s) for Banner
Manage and develop strategies to grow sales of Lighting and Indication solutions
Lead and monitor market-based solution pricing and profitability strategies to meet company goals Ensure Banner solutions are correctly and competitively positioned in the market.
Represent Banner at organizations, trade shows and/or conferences to remain current in the industry, provide technical expertise and increase brand awareness.
Develop internal and external training content; educate the sales and development teams about solution positioning
Identify sales successes and promote internally and externally
