Customer PAX Coordinator - Logistics Planner

The Customer PAX Coordinator will be responsible for fostering and developing relationships with Customers, that fall within a geographic region. To procure sufficient freight from customers with pricing meeting company guidelines, and moving within defined lanes. Sufficient freight to be defined as keeping the Company's equipment pre-booked and generating best in class utilization as measured by the Company's budget goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Daily conversations with established customers, in order to book sufficient freight, meeting the requirements of the company's operations.
2. Develop new customers shipping goods from within the assigned geographic region, which would also meet the company's requirement.
3. Complete weekly customer score cards showcasing our on-time performance, loads covered, and any issues we may have had.
4. Complete corrective action plans for service failures and provide feedback to the customer.
5. Work closely with providers to insure efficient and effective execution of defined processes and goods transportation.
6. Manage freight within the company's proprietary dispatch system as well as TMW software systems, for recordkeeping, analyses and evaluation purposes.
7. Organize and maintain hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment, distribution means, pricing, and contractual obligations.
8. Monitor benchmarks and identify trends and problems.
9. Prioritize and assign loads by customer needs and geography.
10. Effectively communicate to internal and external customers, and management.
11. Communicate fulfillment status and/or issues within the Organization to points including demand/supply planning, logistics management, sales, and customer service.
12. Create work orders through our operating systems.
13. Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
14. Maintain documents and records and scan and store electronic records thru our operating systems.
15. Assist and support the Director of Operations as needed.
16. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

An Associate degree, with 3 years of transportation logistics experience preferred. Strong customer service, communication, negotiation/sales, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines. Excellent computer skills including logistics/dispatch software preferably TMW or McLeod, and Microsoft Office Suite experience. Ability to multitask and work within a quick paced, high energy environment. Must have the desire to win, and the aptitude to be measured and meet performance goals. In leu of desired experience, we may consider a combination of education, experience, and aptitude in qualifying for this position
