Lifecycle Marketing is responsible for providing communications and experiences to move prospects to customers to advocates. This position is responsible for driving email marketing programs to improve engagement, drive land and expand revenue and improve customer attrition.

As a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, you will work with both internal and external partners to drive engagement, nurture loyalty and advocacy while reducing churn and maximizing activation and revenue from software customers. You will help drive lifecycle's marketing campaign strategy, focusing specifically on email marketing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of marketing experience with at least 2+ years in the SaaS environment

  • 3+ years of email marketing experience; including coding, copywriting, and development

  • 2+ years in customer engagement or retention marketing

  • Proven experience using at least two of these channels: email, push notifications, SMS: familiarity with email platforms (Marketo, Eloqua, Constant Contact), tracking, analytic tools (e.g. Salesforce, Google Analytics)

  • Excellent HTML, CSS skills and a passion for designing cutting-edge email marketing programs

  • Proven ability to effectively project manage, strong strategic thinking, creative problem solving and analytical skills

  • Experience in the ideation of emails, landing pages, and CTAs, designing and executing A/B tests, and drawing actionable conclusions from results.

  • Excellent creativity, sense of visual design, and ability to produce compelling copy, with great attention to detail

  • Experience working in rapid growth environment that requires flexibility and continuous innovation

  • Able to "roll up your sleeves" to do what is needed in urgent situations while maintaining a "big-picture" view

  • Goal driven and comfortable developing targets and long-term goals and measures for program performance

  • Experience implementing and optimizing a marketing automation platform is a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage email, and direct mail channels to drive prospects and customers across lifecycle stages

  • Play critical role in building strategy and email programs with our marketing automation platform; perform day-to-day email marketing activities including email campaign setup, scheduling, A/B testing, email optimization and deployment

  • Drive improvements of email designs including content, look & feel, and delivery times

  • Build and communicate campaign schedules on-time to key stakeholders

  • Leverage and build closed-loop reporting, campaign forecasts and share out results and learnings to the broader groups

  • Collaborate, design and deploy automated nurture programs to both customers and prospects

  • Assist department with a wide variety of marketing projects, to possibly include contract submissions, permission marketing, and event support

  • Work closely with the Product Marketing and Research and Insights teams to translate value propositions into effective positioning to both prospects and customers.

  • Partner with Content Marketing to map out content needs to each marketing campaign

  • Develop relationships with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Marketing, Partnerships, Events, and Customer Success to support process, strategy and lifecycle roadmap

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard

  • This position is mostly stationary and will be required to remain stationary for extended periods of time.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Lifecycle Marketing Associate will partner with consumer lifecycle, analytics, product management and creative teams to utilize a combination of project management, creative direction, and data to deliver on programs that support the greater goals within the Lifecycle/Growth team. * Play a critical role in building strategy across all three channels with our marketing automation platform. * Co-own and assist with the production of lifecycle programs, including email, push, and in-app campaigns for both app and web products. This includes the setup, scheduling and deployment as well as support in reporting and post mortems with the working team. * Troubleshoot and QA issues as needed with new and existing programs. * Utilize cross functional resources effectively (including Content, Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, Product Management teams). * Maintain and update marketing calendar to ensure all campaigns are updated, tracked and moving according to timeline. * For the love of data - analyze and document campaign results to inform business decisions within tools such as Confluence and Amplitude. * Strong interest in using quantitative data to inform qualitative decisions. Proficiency in Math and and Microsoft Excel is a plus. * Coordinate with other team members to ensure projects stay according to plan. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. * 1-3 years within digital marketing * Preferred: lifecycle/growth, project management, CRM, mobile app marketing, digital advertising. * Proven experience using at least one of these channels: email, push notifications, in-app messages, SMS and/or remarketing; familiarity with email platforms (Marketing Cloud), tracking, analytic tools (e.g. Braze, Amplitude, Google Analytics, etc.). * Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for emails (or willingness/excitement to learn). * Analytical, data driven, funnel driven, experimentation and A/B testing. * Experience with campaign development, from briefs to launch. * Strong project management skills, able to juggle various projects at once. * Detail-oriented, well-organized. * Strong communication skills. * Ability to quickly learn new tools and techniques. * And lastly, no ego!
