Lifecycle Marketing is responsible for providing communications and experiences to move prospects to customers to advocates. This position is responsible for driving email marketing programs to improve engagement, drive land and expand revenue and improve customer attrition.

As a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, you will work with both internal and external partners to drive engagement, nurture loyalty and advocacy while reducing churn and maximizing activation and revenue from software customers. You will help drive lifecycle's marketing campaign strategy, focusing specifically on email marketing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of marketing experience with at least 2+ years in the SaaS environment

  • 3+ years of email marketing experience; including coding, copywriting, and development

  • 2+ years in customer engagement or retention marketing

  • Proven experience using at least two of these channels: email, push notifications, SMS: familiarity with email platforms (Marketo, Eloqua, Constant Contact), tracking, analytic tools (e.g. Salesforce, Google Analytics)

  • Excellent HTML, CSS skills and a passion for designing cutting-edge email marketing programs

  • Proven ability to effectively project manage, strong strategic thinking, creative problem solving and analytical skills

  • Experience in the ideation of emails, landing pages, and CTAs, designing and executing A/B tests, and drawing actionable conclusions from results.

  • Excellent creativity, sense of visual design, and ability to produce compelling copy, with great attention to detail

  • Experience working in rapid growth environment that requires flexibility and continuous innovation

  • Able to "roll up your sleeves" to do what is needed in urgent situations while maintaining a "big-picture" view

  • Goal driven and comfortable developing targets and long-term goals and measures for program performance

  • Experience implementing and optimizing a marketing automation platform is a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage email, and direct mail channels to drive prospects and customers across lifecycle stages

  • Play critical role in building strategy and email programs with our marketing automation platform; perform day-to-day email marketing activities including email campaign setup, scheduling, A/B testing, email optimization and deployment

  • Drive improvements of email designs including content, look & feel, and delivery times

  • Build and communicate campaign schedules on-time to key stakeholders

  • Leverage and build closed-loop reporting, campaign forecasts and share out results and learnings to the broader groups

  • Collaborate, design and deploy automated nurture programs to both customers and prospects

  • Assist department with a wide variety of marketing projects, to possibly include contract submissions, permission marketing, and event support

  • Work closely with the Product Marketing and Research and Insights teams to translate value propositions into effective positioning to both prospects and customers.

  • Partner with Content Marketing to map out content needs to each marketing campaign

  • Develop relationships with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Marketing, Partnerships, Events, and Customer Success to support process, strategy and lifecycle roadmap

  • This position is mostly stationary and will be required to remain stationary for extended periods of time.

The Marketing Automations Manager (MAM) is a new function in the marketing communications team and responsible for developing and executing the overall digital Marketing Automation program. This includes any lead and opportunity generating digital marketing techniques using the following communication tools means towards all of UEI's core target audiences. * Social media campaign (eg LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) * Account Based Marketing e-mail/online campaigns (eg SalesForce Pardot) * UEI Websites (eg UEI, Ecolink, OneForAll, ..) The ultimate goal of the MAM is to automate and measure the generation of new leads and nurturing of existing accounts. In order to realize this the MAM works closely with several stakeholder in and outside the company like peers inside the marketing communications team, product management leadership, sales leadership and sales operations teams. The function reports into the director of global marketing communications. In the team of the Marketing Automations Manager there is specialist help from the Online Specialist (taking care of UEI websites) and the Content Specialist (taking care of digital content creation and distribution). Role and Responsibilities: Automate the generation of marketing leads in pre-set strategic leads * In conjunction with channel marketing, develop marketing lead generation plan. * In conjunction with sales, develop retention plan to nurture current accounts * Create quarterly digital communication campaign plans targeting: * Generate clear measurements on marketing lead conversion and retention; present quarterly progress on metrics to sales and management. * Together with sales, continuously improve the quality, quantity and compliance of marketing generated contact database. * Create efficient campaigns by working with other marketing communications peers (eg create right content, scale across multiple accounts, fast project turn-around with clear quarterly calendar) * Organize quarterly lead review sessions and decide together with sales which warm leads should be handed over to sales and captured in the SalesFunnel. Ecosystem digital marketing * Together with product, marketing and sales, create marketing plan to create UEI awareness, referral, and endorsement inside ecosystem partners such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, RDK Alliance, Zigbee Alliance and other using automated marketing techniques. * Together with product, marketing and sales, create and maintain database of key ecosystem contacts that need to be influenced * Present quarterly updated campaign calendar with clear measurable goals and present results / metrics on previous quarter.
