The Customer Leader (Automotive) proactively manages customers to develop and maintain a firm understanding of their business needs. They will gain insights and offer solutions, recommendations, and provide the support the customer needs to accomplish their additive manufacturing strategy. It's the Customer Leader's responsible for identifying and resolving issues; working with colleagues across the organization to oversee the execution of solutions; securing the existing business, and increasing revenue earning opportunities.
Discover and influence customer's desired outcomes and ensure both Stratasys and the customer are fully aligned on how to achieve and measure those results
Advise customers on strategies and tactics for growing their additive manufacturing footprint
Establish and oversee the customer's adoption, training and development of best practices
Ensure operational success with the customer which includes but is not limited to management of purchase orders and renewals and issue resolution
Identify opportunities to increase or expand a customer's engagement with Stratasys' products and services
Lead the understanding of material consumption patterns and drivers through consistent measurement, reporting and analysis
Develop, plan and execute material growth plans through application identification and adoption
Explain and demonstrate technical products and their value proposition to customers
Responsible, as a consolidated escalation point, for overall account management across the defined account set.
Conduct internal reviews with the product and services teams to ensure continuous customer focus, commitment and engagement as well as collaborate with sales partners to coordinate internal and customer senior management/stakeholders for regular quarterly reviews of progress against documented goals, priorities, and success criteria
Manage Beta experience and adoption within defined customers to accelerate new product usage to become a trusted advocate/advisor to customers at all levels throughout the organization including the C-Suite
Adhere to and enhance the company's established selling process (including strict use of company's CRM of Salesforce.com) to ensure a foundation for future scalability
Proven track record of establishing strong customer relationships across levels of an organization in highly technical, solution-oriented environments
Proven ability to develop, execute and manage significant revenue growth
Demonstrated ability to effectively work cross-functionally
Knowledge of hardware and materials for consultative application discussions
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Demonstrated success working within a Value-Added Resellers (VARs)/Channel sales network
Working familiarity or prior exposure to Challenger sales model is considered a plus
Previous experience working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and/or the supply chain within the Automotive industry
