Responsibilities

Role Purpose

Bluprint Consumer Insights team has the exciting and challenging goal of enhancing initiatives across the company through smart, timely, and actionable insights straight from our consumers. Bluprint is seeking a promising Associate to design and execute research that will help us achieve our aggressive goals. S/he will translate research questions into structured plans, conducting effective research that yields high-quality results and supports cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, facilitate, and report results of consumer research supporting the business

  • Manage consumer recruitment for research purposes, including sourcing, scheduling, and incentive delivery

  • Own survey process and execution

  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to uncover insights that will drive our business forward

  • Clearly communicate research results to a variety of internal audiences

  • Stay abreast of latest advances in consumer research, identifying opportunities to drive results better / faster / smarter

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ year in a role utilizing quantitative and/or qualitative research methods

  • Bachelor's degree

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong empathy and curiosity: you are constantly wondering "how does this work?" or "why does the consumer behave this way?"

  • Experience planning and executing research projects leading to positive business results

  • Experience conducting research directly, including consumer interviews and fielding surveys (writing, programming, & analyzing)

  • Ability to understand how an insight or observation fits within a broader business objective

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills

  • Experience interviewing consumers directly

  • UX/usability testing experience

  • Experience with an online survey tool, R, SPSS, and/or STATA a plus

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to flex your role depending on the situation
