Customer engagement and retention is a top strategic priority for Adobe Digital Media business. MCI (Marketing & Customer Insights) is looking for an exceptional leader to drive insights and analytics for the top creative categories such as Photo, Design and Video to drive customer engagement and retention strategies. We are looking for someone with hands on experience in framing strategic questions, manipulating/analyzing very large data sets and an ability to build deep customer understanding with the capability to translate insights into business recommendations.
What You'll Do
In this role you will own specific work streams as a part of a broader problem-solving process, identify the most relevant information required to test specific hypotheses, and synthesize the relevant information to build actionable recommendations.
Prioritize business issues and "translate" issues to an insight-learning agenda closely partnering with the business leads
Contribute to a structured problem solving approach to articulate the potential root causes of a business issue
Synthesize information across a wide variety of insight sources including: primary market research, third-party data, customer analytics (big data), marketing/media performance to inform the end to end customer story
Leverage data to understand Adobe products in depth, identify areas of opportunity, and execute projects to deliver sustained and material growth in customer engagement and retention for the Creative Cloud business
Help influence execution teams to drive key initiatives across the business that will increase customer engagement and retention
Help develop compelling "stories" that convey the relevant synthesized insights in a compelling manner to various internal stakeholder audiences (e.g., business unit leaders, global marketing leaders)
Additionally, you should have experience in cross functional environments, driving change, and excellent communication skills, including a strong ability to communicate effectively to executive and non-technical audiences.
At least 3-4 years ideally of experience in the following areas: strategic consulting, customer insights/analytics, marketing analytics.
Ideally a degree in economics, maths, engineering or similar
Experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make business decisions
Familiarity with synthesizing combing quantitative analytics with other sources of market research and consumer insights
Comfort in working in fast moving and iterative-development environments.
A team-player, collaborative, mindset is essential.
Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and presentation
Strong SQL skills and ability to efficiently extract data from massive, highly complex, multi-dimensional datasets
Ability to "roll-up your sleeves" and work directly with raw data (when needed) including accessing data and linking in Hadoop, structuring and carrying out analyses (e.g., in R or SPSS)
Master's degree preferred
