In your role as Auto Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring a world-class customer experience by:

  • Facilitating face-to-face interactions with our guests

  • Evaluating customer needs

  • Advising our customers on their automotive needs based on manufacturer recommendations

  • Contributing to a fun team atmosphere

  • Performing automotive preventive maintenance such as changing oil, checking and refilling other vehicle fluids, replacing filters, and inspecting and replacing lights and wipers.

  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace

To qualify for the Auto Technician position, you should:

  • Be friendly and willing to work as part of a great team devoted to the customer

  • Be willing to learn

  • Be able and willing to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Have full mobility and be able to work with your hands above your head

  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time

  • Be able to climb stairs

This position focuses on executing on our service delivery strategies, creating solutions to drive improved delivery, financial efficiency, as well as analyzing historical trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage Vendor Operations team as required, supports both the vendor dispatch function and completion of scheduled/corrective maintenance. * Manage CES Dispatch Team in support of both provider and manufacturer service request * Develop and maintain relationships with peer service managers, both internal and external to UHS * Review and recommend changes in controls, policies, procedures and systems to provide the most efficient, cost effective administration of VM. * Update and maintain VM process and procedures to facilitate consistent training/cross-training. * Ensure vendor partners are meeting UHS performance expectations outlined in teaming agreements * Oversees all CES implementations for Vendor Management, coordinates onboarding of all vendor contracts, vendor documentation and vendor assignment. * Complete special projects as assigned by Vendor Services Director. * Ability to travel up to 10% of time This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee in this position.
