Job Description:

Hybrid opportunity. The ideal candidate must be available to work 1-2 days onsite within one of the following areas:

  • Smyrna, GA
  • Riverville, VA
  • Milwaukee, WI
  • Delaware, OH

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a superior customer experience to all internal and external customers.

  • Enter customer purchase orders, manage each customer account and inventory, and apply existing inventory to new orders.

  • Communicate with all sales representatives and facilities to maintain accurate flow of shipments from the beginning to the end of the order process.

  • Communicate requests/changes to scheduling/converting/shipping.

  • Answer customer calls and respond to emails in a timely fashion.

  • Schedule customer order releases with the Mill Group Load Planner.

  • Provide support to the sales team, including, but not limited to, processing credits, pulling invoices, and running various customer reports.

  • Back-up where needed as requested by the manager.

  • Resolve problems efficiently and effectively.

  • Process customer corrective actions/disputes.

  • Participate in planned daily/weekly customer, customer experience, mill, and allocation meeting calls.

  • Run reports and perform other duties as customary with the position or as assigned by the manager.

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 4-year degree or some college preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Industry experience preferred but not required.

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be highly detailed, organized, and team-oriented.

  • Must work independently, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and operate proficiently under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to think critically.

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to deliver legendary customer experiences.

  • Ability to act in good judgment from prior experience is a must.

  • Must have PC skills in Microsoft Office software. ERP systems experience is a plus

  • Must be able to work under immediate supervision.
