As a Customer Experience intern, you'll partner with multiple teams including Customer Success, Support, Implementations, and our analyst team to ensure we're meeting our merchants' needs and have the best internal processes. You'll work with various data-driven processes and drive success through data hygiene and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Customer Success Managers with Quarterly Business Reviews and monthly reviews.

  • Scale and optimize processes that impact multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Work with data analysts on merchant-specific and company-wide projects.

  • Analyze customer cohorts and segments to identify trends and suggest best practices Improve data integrity across multiple systems.

  • Work with Salesforce, Zendesk, and other internal workflows.

  • Organize information and knowledge within our applications, playbooks and shared drives.

Requirements

  • 1 year of your MBA completed by summer 2020.

The Product Organization is composed of two teams: Product Management and Product Strategy. Here is a brief description of each: Product Management- is at the core of Engineering by creating the strategy and roadmap of our products and aligning the organization and customers around that vision. Product Managers own the lifecycle of the product from conception, creation Product Strategy –works on high visibility projects in conjunction with product and business leaders across the organization to shape Okta's strategy for market expansion and continue extending our lead in our core product areas. As an MBA Intern, you will be placed in one of the three Product teams and will have an impact on the direction of Okta through our products. Projects and Responsibilities will depend on the team's needs and the candidate's skills, abilities, and background. However, you can anticipate working on the following: * Understanding core business problems and requirements from customers, prospects, sales, and support * Working with Engineering, the Product Management team and other internal groups to prioritize, define and document user stories and use cases to guide product development * Setting a product strategy and direction for your product * Tracking industry trends and competition to inform product decisions and strategy * Collaborating with Product Marketing to support the creation of messaging and content * Partnering with technical marketing as the subject matter expert to enable the Okta technical Salesforce * Adhoc projects Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Pursuing an MBA degree with anticipated graduation date of summer 2021 or later * Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal and written) * Track record of successful delivery of company-critical projects * Possesses an approach and philosophy around building innovative products that puts solving customer problems ahead of everything * Ability to work effectively in a nimble environment while scaling the business and organization Ideal & Preferred Background * Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering or related * 4+ years of relevant industry experience DISCLAIMER: Cover letter not required Okta San Francisco CA
