Job Purpose

Manage the development and implementation of the IND worldwide and North America outward facing marketing strategies to support the achievement of short- and long-term sales and profit contribution objectives.

Essential Duties

  • Strategy and Leadership, Customer Experience(Global IND, North America)

  • With the marketing director develop the annual marketing communications & customer experience plan, as well as the 3-year customer experience road map process for end-users and channel partners

  • Leading Marketing Strategy/Launch Plans: Create, plan and implement strategies with programs and events. Create, plan and execute product launch plans from launch to 12 months, and post-launch (support product management team through product life cycle), training programs and education

  • Partner with marketing teams, product management, sales, training, and engineering on cross-functional initiatives that impact global brand, sales and product launch efforts

  • Work with enterprise-wide and divisional/regional marketing teams to implement solutions (templates, landing pages, campaign flows, dashboards, etc.)

  • Responsible for providing strategy and tactical direction for a dynamic group of marketers and system admins responsible for account-based marketing (ABM) and digital (website/podcast/video/social) marketing

  • Operational Efficiencies

  • Proactively identify ways to improve and streamline the brand along the entire customer experience: processes, systems and workflows to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness

  • Define, manage and reinforce the organization's global brand and reputation through consistent messaging and visual presentation

  • Manage lead generation and lead nurture campaigns and campaign analysis

  • Monitor, evaluate, and provide input on digital and communications activities by the top Graco IND competitors and new marketing trends that are appropriate for the IND division

  • Reporting and Analytics

  • Identify the digital and ABM campaign KPIs in conjunction with cross-functional teams to monitor and analyze key metrics and outcomes

  • Collaborate with marketing analyst to evaluate data and provide recommendations for marketing effectiveness and develop full-funnel measurement strategy and reporting

  • Benchmark current marketing activities, performance and investment levels, and develop strategy for continual improvement and recommendations for future campaigns and programs

  • CMS (Content Management System). Adobe experience preferred.

Core Capabilities

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to synthesize data into insight that supports effective decision-making

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, demand generation and marketing automation strategy development and implementation experience

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong project management, time management and cross-functional coordination skills

  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and establish new processes while streamline existing ones

  • Strong team player who can work well across multiple cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product and corporate

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field

  • 8+ years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility leading teams and driving cross-functional global marketing operations initiatives (or combination of education and experience)

  • Experience setting annual and long-term marketing strategy and tactical plans

  • Understanding of key technologies and developments in marketing technology

  • Possess effective written and oral communication skills in order to successfully work with all organizational levels

  • Experience working in a B2B environment

  • Willingness to travel: 10-15% (minimal)
