Job Summary

Creates, faxes, or mails, follows up on, and obtains in a timely manner , signed required medical documentation from physicians' offices and patients by telephoning physicians and patients. Coordinates all aspects of the shipment of medical supplies to new and existing customers in accordance with all regulatory and company requirements and policies, and communicates effectively with health care professionals with the overall objective of building professional relationships with key decision makers that yield regular referring contacts with a continual stream of patient referrals.

Essential Duties

  • Establishes new patient accounts reconciling all data entry input against source documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with established regulatory requirements and department and Company standards and procedures.

  • Communicates with healthcare professionals to provide updates on patient's order status with the overall objective of building professional relationships with key decision makers that yield regular referring contacts with a continual stream of patient referrals.

  • Thoroughly notes patient accounts when action is required/taken and/or upon each completed or attempted contact with the patient.

  • Expedites service in situations requiring urgent attention as determined by management.

  • Provides patients with a comprehensive explanation of required documents and explains how to complete required documents, as necessary.

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and contributes to solutions to enhance workflow efficiency and enhance the customer's experience.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned, which may vary at any time with or without notice.

Education

High School Diploma or GED - Required

Experience

One or more years of Call Center experience -Preferred

Responsibilities The IT Customer Technical Support Representative provides Tier I and II technical software, hardware and network problem resolution for clients by performing problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions or may provide expertise to solve first and second tier technical support issues for end-users of the organization's products, applications, and services. Uses automated information systems to analyze routine situations. Reviews incoming requests, both computer generated and verbal, sort, code and may prioritize for proper action.
