Title: Customer Engineer Specialist
Location: Ohio (Virtual)
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
The Customer Engineer Specialist performs routine assignments as required for an entry level professional role; Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts. At this level, a CES must be an expert in all technical aspects of all systems and processes and be able to diagnose either remotely or on site.
Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related disciplines and industry practices
Applies professional judgment based on the analysis of quantitative data and information
Screens, categorizes and resolves data integrity issues
Develops project management skills
Required completion of business/district specific training (i.e. T&T training) as prescribed by manager and able to apply learnings to most complex cases/clients
Acts as regional champion for special projects
Serves as technical expert for escalated problems within a district.
Gathers information from a wide range of sources to resolve problems with unknown solutions including:
May serve as a mentor in one or two product domains or customer specialties
Works on multiple projects or a project with global scope. Owns the overall management of the project, coordinating resources across organizations and managing to timeline.
High School Diploma or GED
Must be a local candidate
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have the ability to carrying and lifting a tool kit/parts of varying weights (1- 50 lbs.) and prolonged travel as needed.
