OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for providing direct service to customers and prospective customers on both inbound and/or outbound telephone calls in order to meet the assigned efficiency, sales, and service goals of the Bank.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answering incoming calls and verifying the customer before providing information in accordance with ACNB Bank's Customer Identification Standards;

• Identifying customer's needs, and responding to and resolving customer inquiries and concerns;

• Identifying sales opportunities and taking appropriate action;

• Generating referrals to other Bank lines of business such as Trust, Treasury Management, Commercial or Mortgage Lending;

• Resolving customer complaints, questions, and inquiries as necessary;

• Processing consumer loan applications received via the Bank's website;

• Processing new deposit account applications received via the Bank's website;

• Participating in marketing strategies for the Customer Contact Center; and,

• Completing and mailing credit reference documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• A high school diploma or equivalent;

• Outstanding customer service skills;

• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills;

• Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills;

• Proficient PC skills, including a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;

• Proficient analytical skills;

• Visual and auditory skills;

• A valid driver's license.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a banking or similar call center environment.
