About the Position

We are looking for a Customer Care Specialist to be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image as part of the company team. This is a full time, temporary position for the 2024 summer.

You'll report to the Logistics Manager at our Kalispell, MT location, focusing on these key responsibilities:

  • Smoothly answer and operate phone system, communicating with customers in a professional manner.

  • Heavy phone usage: this position will be the initial point of phone contact with our customers and will then route the traffic to a dispatcher as needed.

  • Perform data entry of customer orders, online customer portals and other information as needed.

  • Using provided tools, track driver movements and update customers on load deliveries either by phone or using online tools.

  • Perform various clerical functions to include copying, printing, filing, sending/receiving/distributing documents.

  • Provides support to dispatch team to fulfill customer and driver needs.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Prior customer service and/or administrative experience

  • Strong computer experience in various programs

  • Basic math ability

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.

  • Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule once fully trained.

  • Ability to sit for long periods.

  • Work in moderate noise levels.

  • Work with minimum supervision.
