Your day.

As a Customer Care Representative you need to know how to:

  • Interact with patients and internal and external partners to provide information and resolve billing and service inquiries for care provided at our care sites and various clinics.

  • Provide accurate and courteous service in an efficient manner.

  • Perform clerical tasks to support the Business Services department as needed.

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Two + years of Customer Service experience

  • One+ years of experience in a healthcare billing environment

  • Knowledge of insurance explanation of benefits

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced production or call center environment, preferred

As a Lead Pharm Tech, you need to know how to: * Ensure availability of accurate pharmaceutical supplies to ancillary units by reading order, entering order data into computer, filling requisitions and delivering floor and narcotic stock orders * Prepare intravenous solutions within standard protocol and aseptic techniques by reading and interpreting orders, calculating proper volume levels of additives needed, performing mathematical volume conversions, labeling prepared solutions, cleaning hood and IV area and restocking medications * Assist with the accurate and timely dispensing of daily patient medications by replenishing medicine carts for nursing units and filling routine patient orders for pharmaceuticals * Conduct rounds to all floors in order to deliver medications generated by new physician orders, retrieve narcotics requisitions, and deliver intravenous solutions * Assist with dispensing and control of narcotics by filling orders, recording narcotics dispensed, delivering narcotics to the floor, matching daily narcotic receipts with controlled substance sheets, and performing an inventory of all narcotics dispensed that day * Answer phone, respond to routine questions, and notify Pharmacist if needed * Count, compound and repackage pharmaceuticals using established procedures * Process admissions, transfers, and discharge information by adjusting patient data in computer, entering charges, changing medication cart to proper patient room, and retrieving sealed items back to inventory, if appropriate * Generate an automatic stop report on those medications targeted as requiring such. This auto discharge notice is placed on those patients' charts who are on these drugs. Adjust patient profile accordingly to reflect physician's desire to continue or discontinue said drug * Monitor supply levels, notify appropriate staff if reorder is needed, rotate stock, and remove expired medications. Ensure main dispensing area and IV area are stocked adequately. Shelve new stock, making sure that the manufacturer's storage requirements are observed * Perform other related duties as assigned to support achievement of Pharmacy goals and objectives Your experience.
