What you will do:

Under general direction, meets the profitability objectives and cash flow performance of the account plan. Develops account expansion plans and pull-through of additional JCI offerings leveraging purchasing, supplier programs, service and product offerings.

Partners with JCI sales and ops management teams. Participates in contract renewal efforts. Owns and optimizes the billing and collection process for all service lines to meet appropriate performance levels.

Leads the operational team to provide the operations and maintenance offerings to assigned account(s) for the purpose of delivering optimized workplace environments and manages the operations and maintenance budgets for customer. Responsible for meeting customer and employee satisfaction objectives and ensuring account staff meet procedural requirements for compliance with business delivery, quality, safety, human resources and health standards. Develops and maintains close working relationships with customers, and communicates and promotes company-wide offerings and expertise, to deliver a single seamless service to clients.

Ensures contractual obligations are met. Tracks, analyzes and trends facility operating costs to identify operational cost reduction opportunities and generate savings for the customer.

How you will do it:

Strategic business manager responsible for profitability objectives including contract execution of high tech O&M business with multiple support services. This includes leading the onsite team of administrative support, technicians and JCI partners delivering HVAC, building automation, security, fire detection, fire suppression and building wide system IT services.

Will implement innovative services by taking full advantage of the Internet of Things and Big Data analytics to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. Accountable for facility performance on large, multi-building, high risk, highly visible contracts typically up to $15M in size. Establish partnership with customers and develop a "C-Level" contact.

Meets contractual obligations and customer satisfaction objectives. Participates in contract renewal efforts and promotes expansion of contract scope. Analyzes facility management business to identify & communicate to the business, potential cost reduction opportunities and additional Facility Management offerings

Responsible for the execution and achievement of operational objectives. Ensures that consistent standards are deployed across customer accounts. University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8 Years minimum experience.

What we look for:

Bachelor's Degree, Masters preferred and 10 years related experience leading facilities and HVAC operations.

Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously and communicate effectively with customers is a plus. Complex office buildings experience and additional certifications is a plus.

The CSM directly reports to the General Manager (GM). The CSM will also work closely with and receive direction and guidance from the Business Director or Business Manager (BD/BM). Responsibilities include: * Modeling and promoting the Clubhouse Rules. * Being available to team members to address questions and concerns. * Ensuring that the club provides high levels of customer service, a consistently clean club, friendly service and responds to member feedback. * Creating a strong sense of team by fostering collaboration, communication and alignment amongst team members. * Actively listening to member and employee concerns, addressing issues before they become problems. * Adhering to all TSI policies and procedures including, but not limited to timeliness, codes of conduct, uniforms and timekeeping. Responsibilities include: * Partnering with GM to review and analyze club profit and loss statements and other financial reports daily to ensure club is on track to meet sales and cost goals. * Collaborating with GM to effectively manage costs, including (but not limited to) labor, supplies and equipment. * Administering scheduling and bi-weekly payroll for direct reports and oversee such administration by other club managers. Requirements Required Skills and Experience: * 2-3 years of management experience in a fitness, hospitality or retail environment, including direct experience in profit and loss management, revenue generation and people management. * Physical demands include ability to walk through all areas of clubs, and bending and lifting (e.g., picking up towels, restacking of weights, moving of equipment as necessary). * Able to work a full-time flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business, including mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends and 12-hour close-out shifts. * AED/CPR Certified. * AA or BA/ BS degree (preferred) * California Applicants Only: All California applicants applying to a location that works with children must be certified and registered through Trustline. Scheduling Requirements: Due to the nature of the business, Town Sports has specific scheduling guidelines for this position. * Team Members are required to work 3 out of the last 4 days of the month, with the last day of the month being mandatory. * TSI does not authorize vacation time in the months of January or September. * This position does not have a set schedule month-to-month and is subject to changes based on the needs of the business.
