Job Summary:
The customer analytics analyst is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Group 1's customer data platform (CDP) and related solutions. The analyst will design, build, and manage data processes within the CDP to ensure customer data is standardized and optimized for marketing programs. The analyst will need to have a good understanding of python and SQL to build and updates data processes. The analyst will also oversee the data integration processes, including managing changes and resolving issues related to the integration processes. This role will require significant collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to ensure Group 1 maximizes the value from its CDP investment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Data processes
Design, build, manage and maintain data hygiene processes to ensure accuracy and completeness
Write Python and SQL code to automate data processes
Build new data processes to expand 1st party data relating to customers
Ensure timeliness of data processing and availability of data to support marketing programs
Provide recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis
Data integration
Define requirements for data integration processes
Collaborate with IT group to build and automate integration processes
Manage quality and uptime of integration processes
Manage integration of CDP with external data and marketing partners
Product management
Define and manage roadmap of CDP enhancements and changes
Provide internal stakeholders with updates about CDP operations
Provide training and support for Group 1 users relating to CDP
Vendor management
Manage relationship with CDP technology and related vendors
Manage resolution of issues requiring vendor support
Define scope of projects relating to CDP changes and enhancements
Qualifications:
Preferred bachelor's degree in data analytics, computer science, management information systems, or related field
2-3 years of experience working with customer data and customer databases or a Master of Analytics
Proficient in Python
Proficient in SQL and building complex queries
Experience with relational databases
Experience with ETL and data integration processes
Experience working with large data files
Strong communications skills
Problem-solver
Accepts responsibility for quality of work and continuous improvement
Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical personnel
Willingness to learn and test new tools and approaches to accelerate data analysis
