The Occasions Group, an industry leader specializing in paper converting, manufacturing and printing greeting cards, social stationary, napkins and envelopes as well as providing the best in specialty finishing services is looking for a Customer Service Representative to ensure that our customers receive the best service possible

Shift Available: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Responsibilities Include:

  • Handle service problems politely and efficiently.

  • Quick and efficient when processing customer requests.

  • Process customer POs in a timely and accurate manner as well as track orders throughout departments.

  • Coordinate and communicate multiple complex pieces of an order to meet customer requirements and expectations.

  • Ensure that customer requests and expectations are met including answering questions on stock, orders, pricing and general inquires.

  • Able to anticipate customer requests, problems and needs in a timely manner.

  • Addresses any issues that a customer might have in a timely and proactive manner including shipping, payment, and pricing requests.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school degree of GED required

  • Customer Service experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Production experience preferred

  • Familiar with printing and process terminology preferred

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Detail oriented and able to work with numbers

Responsible for product quality and customer servicing responsibilities. Provide the leadership needed to advocate for the customer and drive alignment with internal functions/departments such that we meet or exceed our customers' expectations in the quality of our products and services. Key Accountabilities * Will include, but not limited, to the following areas: * Takes the lead in managing the quality relationships with the assigned key customer accounts. * Coordinate customer's quality standards communication and implementation. * Track customer quality metrics (KPIs) and regular reporting to management. * Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams on quality defect resolution. * Participate/Lead conference calls with customers related to product quality. * Acts as an advocate for our customers to ensure the team meets product, delivery requirements, including specific process requirements such as change management and problem-solving process disciplines. * Monitor quality performance, support and actively communicate corrective action work across the supply chain. * Conduct PCN risk assessment and change issuance to customers for notification/approval. * Contributes towards continuous improvement activities in product quality and process efficiency across the supply chain. * Directs all aspects of the Returned Goods process, including the evaluation of returned goods when necessary, reviewing information from the Failure Analysis Lab, writing failure analysis reports for customers and documenting those reports in the RGA system, dispositioning returned products appropriately, and issuing corrective actions when needed to address customer issues. * Works with Design Engineering on product development teams; represents the Quality Organization in Design Review meetings. * Issues corrective actions to the appropriate personnel when necessary; takes ownership of corrective actions issued by customers. * Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of nonconforming material and determines/evaluates corrective action as required. * Leads continuous improvement teams to reduce scrap and rework and improve processes using Six Sigma and Lean methodology. * Directs and mentors workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability. * Analyzes data for trends and reports them to the appropriate personnel for follow-up. * Must possess the ability to function independently, with little or no direct supervision.Designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. Skills & Experience * Bachelors of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field. * Will consider non-related degrees accompanied with three to five years related experience or individuals with a minimum of five years' experience in a related position. * Ability to read and understand blue prints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) required; * Lean Expert or Six Sigma Black Belt desired; * Six Sigma Green Belt certification or the ability to acquire certification in one year required. * ASQ certifications (CQE, CSSBB, CMQ/OE) highly desirable.
