Position Summary

This position is the main contact for the Walmart and Sam's Club call for Essentia Water. The Customer Account Manager is responsible for managing the existing Walmart/Sam's Essentia portfolio for Essentia, as well as targeting new opportunities and expansion. This position offers you a chance to drive the growth and success of Essentia Water in Walmart and Sam's Club as a leader within our rapidly growing sales organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day responsibilities of both Walmart and Sam's Club, including:

  • Creating and maintaining good business relationships with both buyers.

  • Targeting and securing product expansion opportunities.

  • Presenting and planning sales promotional calendars.

  • Creating and finding partnership opportunities with Walmart and Sam's Club.

  • Working closely with Regional Director and Regional Sales Managers to maximize execution at store level.

  • Reporting and effectively managing all sales expenses and budgets for the region.

  • Retail Link and Madrid reporting management.

  • Working directly with Essentia Direct Store Delivery (DSD) customers to assist and direct proper on hand requirements.

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of relevant sales experience in the beverage business

  • Experience calling on Walmart and/or Sam's

  • Experience with Retail Link and Madrid

  • Walmart and Sam's Club product replenishment experience

  • Successful track record of delivering exceptional sales results

  • National/Regional chain experience is preferred

  • DSD Experience

Skills:

  • Must understand the category, key competitors, and be willing to develop category knowledge

  • Must understand how to develop customer specific category growth strategies

  • Understands all sales functions, Customer, and Nestl Retail sales. Good knowledge of interrelationship of key company functions and their key initiatives

  • Understand the interaction between sales functions, Nestl Retail sales, Enable Hub, Customer Service, and Customer Facing Supply Chain

  • Demonstrates the ability to influence people and create compelling, fact-based sales stories

  • The ability to create a customer plan that's within guidelines and assigned Trade Rates

  • Knowledge of Sales Fundamentals of Pricing, Promotion, Assortment, and Merchandising

  • Knowledge of Integrated Commercial Planning process and the Monthly Business Planning Process

  • Knowledge of customer, the marketplace, and relevant channel and shopper trends to generate actionable ideas

  • Strong proficiency working with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong command of business mathematics with strong analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrate ability to think strategically, and drive execution against goals
